INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – CertaSite®, a commercial fire protection and life safety company, today announced its sponsorship of kart racer Asher Farris. The sponsorship will last throughout the remainder of Asher’s 2023 season.
CertaSite’s sponsorship allows Asher and team to travel to all races, brand a new racing suit, drive a new kart livery, and bring awareness to the fire and life safety industry. The sponsorship also brings Asher one step closer to racing on a national level.
“We are thrilled to announce that CertaSite will be sponsoring Asher for the remainder of the 2023 season,” said Brandon and Kristin Farris, Asher’s parents who run his kart program. “As we know, safety is very important in all forms of racing and it is a privilege to get to display CertaSite on our karts, as fire and life safety are their top priority. This partnership will help Asher race to his full potential this season and we are so grateful for their support.”
Ten-year-old Asher currently races in the KRA Series at New Castle Motorsports Park, the WRP Series at Whiteland Raceway Park, the United States Pro Karting Series (USPKS), the SuperKarts USA (SKUSA) Series and the Stars Championship Series. In 2022 alone, Asher raced in 23 races, landed 10 pole positions, notched 14 podium finishes, and won seven races. When not racing, Asher is known around the track as the “IndyCar Kid Reporter” who interviews as many of the NTT IndyCar Series drivers as possible on his YouTube channel Asher’s Racing Channel. Asher is currently the youngest member of the IndyCar media.
“What an opportunity for us at CertaSite to get to sponsor this young driver - whose ultimate goal is to one day be an IndyCar driver, where safety is at the forefront of everything they do,” said Jeff Wyatt, CertaSite CEO. “Asher’s determination and passion for his impact in the sport are unmatched with everything he does. We are thrilled to support Asher and spread awareness for what we do every day – provide a meaningful impact to as many lives as possible. Something Asher does day-in and day-out.”
CertaSite’s passion is fire protection and life safety. The company was founded on a mission to provide the most meaningful impact to as many lives as possible and partnering with a racing team will ultimately allow CertaSite to bring more awareness to the industry and educate the public.
