New customer-focused fire and life safety protection company launches
CertaSite includes five Midwest companies; led by industry veteran
(Indianapolis, Ind.) CertaSite, a new commercial fire protection and life safety company, has launched to provide the highest levels of customer service, responsiveness, building safety and code compliance to customers across the country. Headquartered in Indianapolis, CertaSite is currently serving the Midwest and plans to strategically grow in new markets.
CertaSite is led by CEO Jeff Wyatt, a 30-year veteran of the fire and life safety industry who started his career as an installation technician. He spent 25 years at Koorsen Fire & Security in various leadership positions, including President. Wyatt was recruited to lead CertaSite by The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm that is CertaSite’s primary investor.

CertaSite already has added five fire protection and life safety companies, and is actively engaged in bringing new businesses under the CertaSite umbrella. To date, the CertaSite family includes: Approved Protection Systems (Michigan); Company One Suppression (Illinois and Iowa); County Fire Protection (Ohio and Pennsylvania); Fields Fire Protection (Michigan); and Spears Fire & Safety (Michigan).
